PizzaMaster USA Hosts Successful 2026 Advanced Product and Culinary Training

Posted On January 29, 2026 Category: Events

PizzaMaster USA proudly hosted its 2026 Manufacturer’s Rep Training on January 12-13, bringing together representative partners from across the country for two days of immersive, hands-on education focused on product knowledge, culinary application, sales strategy, and service excellence.

The goal of the program was simple: ensure every PizzaMaster representative has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to understand customer needs, recommend the right equipment for each operation, and support customers long after installation.

A BALANCED APPROACH: PRODUCT, CULINARY, SALES, AND SERVICE

The training was designed to go far beyond traditional classroom presentations. Attendees experienced a comprehensive blend of technical instruction, real-world culinary application, and practical sales and service training.

    Key focus areas included:

    • Understanding customer workflows and operational goals
    • Selecting the right PizzaMaster oven configuration for each application
    • Service and maintenance fundamentals
    • How to effectively demonstrate PizzaMaster ovens
    • Current pizza styles, trends, and techniques
    • Dough making, handling, stretching, and baking

This well-rounded approach ensures reps can confidently support a wide range of operations, from independent pizzerias and bakeries to multi-unit concepts, schools, and institutional kitchens.

    HANDS-ON DOUGH & BAKING INSTRUCTION

Renowned instructor Lee Hunzinger led hands-on training in the principles of dough making and handling. Reps learned proper fermentation techniques, dough balling, stretching methods, and baking approaches for both pizza and bread.

By working directly with dough and ovens, reps gained firsthand experience in how PizzaMaster ovens perform across different products and styles, reinforcing the importance of matching oven configuration to menu needs.

    LEARNING FROM INDUSTRY OPERATORS

To deepen understanding of real-world operations and pizza styles, PizzaMaster USA welcomed several respected operators:

    • Billy and Cecily Federighi – Pizz’Amici
Shared their expertise in Chicago thin crust pizza and their journey in the pizza industry.
    • Derrick – Paulie Gee’s Chicago
Presented on Detroit-style pizza and his experience operating multiple types of pizzerias in the Chicago market.

These sessions provided valuable insight into how successful operators think about menu development, consistency, workflow, and equipment selection.

LIVE EQUIPMENT DEMONSTRATIONS & SALES TRAINING

Throughout the two days, reps rotated through multiple training stations covering:

    • Selling the PizzaMaster solution
    • Training the end user
    • Service and maintenance fundamentals
    • How to demo PizzaMaster ovens
    • Warehouse tour and logistics overview

Live demonstrations were conducted using PizzaMaster PM 913, PM 922, and PM 933 ovens, allowing reps to experience performance, recovery, and versatility in real time.

    VENDOR PARTNER PRESENTATIONS

PizzaMaster was also joined by valued industry partners:

    • Grande Cheese
    • Perfect Crust

These presentations gave reps additional perspective on ingredient performance, accessories, and complementary products that impact results in the kitchen.

    CERTIFICATION AWARDED

At the conclusion of training, all attendees completed a knowledge assessment and were officially awarded PizzaMaster Certification, recognizing their successful completion of advanced training and their readiness to represent the brand at the highest level.

    INVESTING IN THE REP NETWORK

PizzaMaster USA believes that well-trained representatives are essential to delivering exceptional customer experiences. By investing in advanced education and hands-on training, PizzaMaster USA continues to build one of the most knowledgeable and capable rep networks in the commercial foodservice equipment industry.

We thank all attendees, instructors, operators, and partners who helped make the 2026 Manufacturer’s Rep Training a success, and we look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and great pizza.
